Hi. I’m Ebony. ♡
I’m eleven. And apparently that’s a whole thing.
Hi. I’m Ebony.
I’m eleven years old, which means everybody expects me to act grown when it’s convenient and then reminds me I’m a kid when it’s not.
Make that make sense.
I used to live in Chicago. Now I’m in Denver, starting over at a new school and trying to figure out new friends, family, boys, my body, my faith—and basically life.
I notice things. I think about things. And I ask questions. Lots of them.
Sometimes I ask my family. Sometimes I ask myself. And sometimes, when I really need to talk... I talk to Jesus.
I’m not sure I have everything figured out yet. Actually, I’m pretty sure I don’t.
But I’m learning that maybe I don’t have to.
Being eleven is enough. ♡
